Recent Release
The band recently released a new single, “We Just Disagree,” a cover of the 1977 hit song. The original version holds a significant place in music history, as it was not only written but also featured the harmonious vocals of Jim Krueger. This was a pivotal moment for Krueger, as his vocals were showcased shortly after Dave Mason departed from the iconic ’60s band Traffic, where he had collaborated with Jim Capaldi and Steve Winwood. Volume Five’s rendition retains a bit of the folky vibe from Mason’srecording but with the banjo filling the rhythm instead of a 12-string guitar.
In this new Volume Five version, Glen Harrell steps into the spotlight, taking on the lead vocals. His interpretation brings a fresh perspective to the song, adding to the evolution of ‘We Just Disagree ‘.
