Members of the Band
After leaving The Bluegrass Cardinals in 1992, David Parmley formed Cardinal Tradition as a continuation of his musical journey. The name Cardinal Tradition aptly reflects their music, which draws from the wealth of material Parmley recorded on his solo projects and during his time with the original Bluegrass Cardinals. The band’s lineup includes David Parmley (guitar and lead vocals), Ron Spears (mandolin and tenor vocals), Dale Perry (banjo and baritone vocals), Steve Day (fiddle), and John Marquess (bass).
