Below is a list* of links that are accepting monetary and supply donations for those affected by hurricane Helene.

We appreciate all contributions and prayers.  Continue to lift up those affected, and those who are providing assistance.

Many neighboring local authorities and churches  of the affected areas are taking donations. Reach out to them if you’d like to offer donations through their services.

Per their Facebook page: GodsPitCrew will be hosting an emergency Blessing Bucket Assembly on 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟬, and we have many openings available to help! Following the devastation of HurricaneHelene, BlessingBuckets have been deployed to many regions throughout the southeast. In order to keep responding when needed, we need our awesome volunteers to help assemble more!

Cajun Navy Relief

Formed out of necessity, strangers developed an organization to aid in recovery after disasters.  Cajun Navy Relief is currently involved heavily in the efforts to deliver supplies and offer assistance to the areas of Western North Carolina.  Your help is needed as a volunteer.

 

Charity Baptist Church | Eden, NC

Collecting supplies to transport to those in the affected areas.  Monetary donations are being used to purchase more supplies.

 

CHARLOTTE MOTOR SPEEDWAY

Location: 5555 Concord Pkwy S, Concord, NC 28027
Charlotte Motor Speedway is collecting essential items, including bottled water and non-perishable food, for victims in the N.C. mountain areas. Items can be dropped off at the speedway Oct. 2 from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. to be distributed the following day.

You can take collected items to the locations listed below – they will have trailers available and be there daily from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM to collect items. If you would like to volunteer to help at these locations, please email Kristie Hege, President, at kristiehege@uwdavidson.org.

Supplies Drop Off:

  • Drop-Off Hours: 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
    • Volunteers are essential to our mission and are encouraged to assist daily. Upon arrival, please check in at the Walmart parking lot, where roles will be assigned according to current needs, including unloading, sorting, and loading supplies. We welcome volunteers of all ages, abilities, and experience levels. While there is a higher demand for unloading and loading support, we also need help with organizing supplies, supporting our operations team, and other crucial tasks.

Johnston County Sherriff’s Department

With the sheriff’s office and emergency service, is hosting a week-long donation drive. You can drop off donations Monday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the sheriff’s office at 2875 U.S. Highway 70 Business East in Smithfield. They will continue to accept donations until Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Second Harvest is accepting water drop-offs at our warehouse in Maryville for those looking to donate, at 136 Harvest Lane, Maryville, TN 37801.

In addition, monetary donations will assist us in purchasing water and food. YMCA of East Tennessee| Facebook

All YMCA of East Tennessee locations are currently accepting supply donations for the victims of flooding and devastation caused by Helene. We are coordinating with our neighbors at the Unicoi County Family YMCA in Erwin, TN. We spoke this morning with the YMCA leadership to determine their most imminent needs; many in their community have lost everything.

Donations of  water, flashlights, batteries, and portable phone chargers are requested.

Operation Blessing

Aiding in the recovery of areas affected by Hurricane Helene and preparing for Hurricane Milton.  Operation Blessing is set up in Valdosta, Ga assessing the storm and ready to send relief as quickly as possible. Your monetary donations make this happen.

DRUSA: Hurricane Helene

Our DRUSA Ministry is being deployed to assist in bringing emergency relief to the hardest-hit areas in the western part of our state. Pastor Anthony Craver and the wonderful congregation of Upward Christian Fellowship will serve as the official location for our relief effort. The church is located at 991 Upward Rd, Flat Rock, NC 28731.

Aerial Recovery

Aerial Recovery Humanitarian Special Operators have deployed in response to Hurricane Helene, which will impact the Gulf Coast area.

Operators are currently active on the ground across multiple Florida cities that are in the path of the hurricane.

The team will be conducting reconnaissance, welfare checks, aid distribution, and debris clearance to families and neighborhoods who are experiencing damage from the storms.

Your donations provide resources necessary for recovery.

Send Relief

Southern Baptist Disaster Relief (SBDR) teams are rapidly deploying to serve the Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee communities. More than twenty response sites have been activated across the region. Your gifts are supplying meals, water, temporary roofing, flood recovery supplies, and more
