40 Years and Counting

Despite being in the fourth decade of his career, Gary Brewer reached new heights with his 2020 album, ’40th Anniversary Celebration.’ This album, a masterpiece that resonated with both critics and fans, received critical acclaim from top publications such as American Songwriter, Thrive Global, Medium, Authority Magazine, Country Rebel, and The Boot. It spent an impressive 16 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Bluegrass Albums Chart and was the No. 3 best-selling project overall in 2021, a testament to its commercial success and the band’s continued relevance.

Musical Success

In 2022, Gary Brewer & The Kentucky Ramblers released a new single titled “Pass Along The Good,” co-written with multi-GRAMMY award-winning Americana Music Icon Jim Lauderdale. The track was No. 1 on the Global Radio Indicator Americana/Grassicana chart and is currently in heavy rotation on Sirius XM’s Outlaw Country channel (ch 60).

Additionally, Gary Brewer released a solo acoustic guitar concept album called “Gary Brewer’s House of Axes.” This album features studio recordings filmed in a 4K cinematic multi-angle video, showcasing vintage acoustic guitars from Gary’s rare private collection. It’s a stripped-down, raw view of the essence and soul of these vintage instruments, reminiscent of Leo Kottke’s 1969 album “6- and 12-String Guitar.”
